Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial can address many different skin conditions, including improving overall skin tone, reducing brown and red pigment, aging, rosacea, vascular lesions, and active acne.
The most common areas of treatment are those that are frequently exposed to the sun. This includes the face, neck, décolletage, hands, arms and legs.

The Stellar M22 Acne Photofacial is for patients with active acne. Multiple and frequent treatments will be required for optimal results. This service is only available for purchase in a package price, or when added on to another service.
What to expect during your IPL Photofacial treatment:
Your technician will complete a detailed medical history questionnaire to determine if you are an appropriate candidate for treatment. Appropriate eye protection goggles will be applied and a cool gel will be placed on the treatment area. The Photofacial treatment will then be administered by our skilled technician with one or more passes, depending on individual patient response. You may experience a warm sensation with each pulse. Due to the cooling tip, treatment is very well tolerated.
What to expect after your IPL Photofacial treatment:
Following the IPL Photofacial treatment, you may experience mild redness, darkening of veins, and darkened peppering to brown spots. Most of these responses may last a few hours to a few days. Response on the body may last 3 to 4 weeks.
Multiple treatments, spaced every 4-6 weeks, may be required to achieve the desired response. Laser treatments tend to deliver exceptional results and significantly transform the appearance of the skin. That being said, individual results will vary, and a series of treatments is typically recommended for optimal results.
