At Moderne Medical, we offer personalized treatments that utilize the collagen stimulating benefits of microneedling combined with the added benefits of enhanced treatment serums. Microneedling treatments can treat many skin concerns, such as acne scarring, wrinkles, fine lines, appearance of pore size, pigmentation, and more! The most common treatment areas are the face, neck, and chest. Microneedling is safe for all skin types.

How Does it Work?

At Moderne Medical, we offer only the best and most current aesthetic technologies. That is why we use the SkinPen; the first FDA approved microneedling device. A medical grade topical numbing cream will be applied to the desired treatment areas prior to your appointment to help alleviate any discomfort. During the treatment, the SkinPen microneedling device is gently moved across the surface of skin. Tiny micro-punctures are created on the surface which work to activate the natural production of collagen within skin. These tiny punctures also act as channels for the treatment serum to better penetrate beneath the surface to the underlying tissue layers.

Immediately after the treatment, most patients report looking red as if they have a mild sunburn. This redness can last 12 to 24 hours depending on the treatment settings. After the skin has returned to its normal tone, you may experience peeling or slight flaking of the treatment area. It is important to follow the post treatment instructions provided to you by your technician. For optimal results, we recommend a series of 3 treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart.

Microneedling with Brightening Solution

Hyaluronic acid provides lubrication and is a powerful humectant that promotes rapid re-hydration and volume enhancement within the upper layers of the skin.
