What Can I Expect Before and During Treatment?

During treatment, your Sculptra provider will mark the injection sites on your skin and then cleanse it. This dermal filler treatment does not hurt. However, if you are concerned about discomfort, your provider will apply a topical anesthetic. Finally, several tiny injections will be administered into the expertly marked areas.
What Can I Expect After Treatment?
After treatment, you can immediately return to your daily routine. However, there are a few after-care tips you need to keep in mind. First, for the best results, hold a cold pack wrapped in a thin towel to the treatment site for a few minutes at a time for the first 24 hours after your treatment.
Second, remember the “rule of 5s”. Massage the treatment site for five minutes at a time, five times daily, for five days. Finally, protect your skin. Wear sunscreen before you go outside during the day and avoid tanning beds for the first few days following your anti-aging treatment.
What Results Can I Realistically Expect?
Results from this treatment are gradual. Once the process has been prompted, it takes time for your body to produce new, healthy, strong collagen and elastin. You will see significantly improved results within two to three weeks of your treatment.
However, the final results will not be realized until two to three months after your treatment. Once you’ve achieved your aesthetic goals, you can reasonably expect the results to last approximately two years.
